THE Arcadia Moravian Church Choir presents a Christmas Concert in aid of the Elim Home, which is situated in the historical, but impoverished rural town of Elim, some 200km from Cape Town.

Founded in 1963 by the Moravian Church of South Africa, the Elim Home cares for the most severely intellectually and physically disabled children and young adults from disadvantaged communities.

The concert will be held at the Arcadia Moravian Church at 86 Grootboom Street, Arcadia, Port Elizabeth on Monday, December 16 at 15:00.

The guest artists include mezzo soprano Terry-Ann Jullies and the baritone, Andy Matima, who will sing a wide variety of songs and carols.

Christmas music will be played on the trumpet, saxophone and organ by Curt-leigh Koopman, Hurbert Jacobs, Sue-Ann Gelderblom and Dr. Devandré Boonzaaier.

The Arcadia Moravian Spiritual Dancers will add to the splendour of the concert.

The Church Choir of Arcadia Moravian Church will be singing a variety of Christmas Carols whilst the Brass Band of Arcadia Moravian Church will also take part in this concert at which funds will be raised for charity.

There will be no Admission fee, but a soft collection will be taken. The concert will last approximately 75 minutes.
