KABEGA PARK detectives are seeking the community’s assistance in tracing the next of kin of an unidentified male whose body was found at Eagles Nest in Rocklands.
The body was found on Saturday, 19 September 2020. Police responded to a complaint of an unknown person lying on his back next to a gravel road. He was wearing blue denim jeans, white T-shirt, navy blue and red and black bomber with a hoodie with the words Starter Black Label at the back and a black belt. One brown shoe was on his foot while the other shoe was lying about one metre away. The shoes were brand new. He had bruises on his legs. Police have since determined that the deceased was a white male. His body was in an advanced stage of decomposition.
An inquest docket was opened for investigation.
