SINCE the establishment of PE Harlequins RFC, it produced several outstanding players. The tremendous investment in the progressive development of these players resulted in them being elevated to the top echelons of rugby.
Over the years and as part of the Harlequins family, they have contributed to the development of rugby in the community. In their efforts to secure their projects, they continue their fundraising efforts and will host an annual Golf Day as well as a Podcast evening.
For both these events, they have secured and confirmed the attendance of former Springbok players Braam van Straaten, Danie Coetzee, Ricardo Laubscher and Deon Kayser. Former provincial rugby players such as Andile NyembezI, Henry Pedro, Lythen Abdul, Vuyani Dhlomo, Brian Matthews, Elton Peterson, Bernard Petersen will also be in attendance.
A coaching clinic will also be held on 18 June at the Adcock Stadium with the attendance of previous Springbok coaches, Allistair Coetzee and Pieter de Villiers.
The Golf Day will be held at the Uitenhage Country Club, followed by the Podcast Evening at the Nelson Mandela Bay Yacht club on 19 June.
