A 51-year-old man from KwaNobuhle will be appearing in the Kariega Magistrates Court this morning after allegedly murdering of his 49-year-old fiancé during the early hours of yesterday morning, July 10.
Police spokesperson, Col. Priscilla Naidu, said that just before 02:00, Zukiswa Bikini was asleep at their house in 3rd Avenue, KwaNobuhle when her fiancé arrived home.
“It is further alleged that the couple started arguing and the argument turned into a physical brawl. The suspect allegedly choked her to death. They were living together,” Naidu said.
“A case of murder was opened and the suspect was arrested,” she added.
