Police in Addo are investigating a case of business robbery after at least five men attacked and robbed owners at a game lodge in Addo on Sunday, July 31.
According to police spokesperson Warrant Officer Majola Nkohli, it is alleged that on Sunday evening at about 21:15, the owner of the business and his wife were busy in the premises when five armed men accosted them and started assaulting the husband.
“The couple was later marshalled into the house where the suspects stole laptops, cell phones and jewellery before fleeing the scene,” said Nkohli.
“The suspects are still at large, and police are urging anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects to contact the nearest police station.”
