There are some great prizes up for grabs at the 5K fun run on Saturday, February 15 at the Kariega Airfield organised by The Rotary Club of Uitenhage South. The first prize in several categories can’t be bought; it’s a flight in a light aircraft and there are other great prizes to be won as well. The Rotary Club has organised the event with a low entry fee of R50 to enable entrants to get themselves sponsored for their favourite cause, be that a school, church or any other worthy cause. Staff from the sponsors are allowed to try for them and are getting themselves sponsored for their chosen charities as well, so Mbali Malaluka from Karsans Attorneys and Monique Eyre-Du Preez from Klinicare went to Kariega Airfield to train for the run. The race starts at 08:30 and late entries are welcome, but arrive early to register.
