The line-up is a masterclass in South African excellence, blending the nostalgic charm of the show’s most beloved icons with the fresh, dynamic energy of the country’s newest cultural leaders.
Premiering on S3 Thursday 30 April, the new season marks a return to the high-gloss, aspirational storytelling that defined a generation.
To navigate this new era, the show has assembled an elite team of personalities who are leading the conversation on style, success and local achievement.
A familiar face
One of South Africa’s most recognisable and enduring television personalities, Dr Michael Mol returns to Top Billing where he became a household name over many years. With a broadcasting career spanning decades, Mol has hosted a series of talk, health and lifestyle programmes throughout his career and has made a name for himself with his warm, approachable style and ability to connect with audiences.
Favourite returns
Former Miss South Africa 1994 and Miss World runner-up, Basetsana Kumalo was one of the original Top Billing presenters close to three decades ago and is a true South African icon.
A successful businesswoman, philanthropist media personality and executive producer, Kumalo has built a powerful personal brand centred on empowerment, leadership, and elegance.
Her return marks a full-circle moment and brings a wealth of experience and inspiration to the new season.

A firm fan favourite since the 2018’s Presenter Search on 3, Dr Fez Mkhize is the quintessential modern Renaissance man.

‘Nature Boy’ is back
Actor and presenter Ryle de Morny is best known for waking up Mzansi on the Expresso Morning Show.
Affectionately known as “Nature Boy,” De Morny is a professional lifeguard and previously held the title of South Africa’s fastest man on sand.

Joining the legacy presenters is a new generation of talent, each bringing their own voice, perspective and star power to Top Billing.

A qualified legal professional, Miss South Africa 2023 runner-up Bryoni Govender is excited to step into her new role as a Top Billing presenter.
