The police are hunting for three suspects in Bonteheuwel after a woman was gunned down earlier this morning (Friday, 13 October).
The woman, in her 20’s, was shot in Jakkelsvlei Avenue whereafter the assailants fled through an open field next to the Metropolitan Sports Complex.
Bishop Lavis police spokesperson Sgt Samantha Adonis confirmed the murder to TygerBurger and said that more information will be provided at a later stage. “The police and law enforcement officers are still on the scene. If you know anything about the murder, please contact the police immediately,” says Adonis.
