On Thursday 22 February Bastion Primary School held their annual interhouse athletics meeting.
The excitement of the learners was palpable as they cheered, ran and jumped their way through the day in near-perfect weather conditions on a warm summer’s day. In spite of the Yellow team leading for a large portion of the day, in the end it was the White team that walked away with the athletics trophy, and also cheered their way to the spirit trophy. The Red team successfully claimed the pavilion trophy.
Christiaan Basson and Milan Kotze were crowned as the victor and victrix ludorum for their exceptional achievements in both track and field events on the day.
