A shooting in Cuckoo Close, Rocklands, Mitchells Plain on Sunday 12, June, left two men dead and a third injured.

The deceased, aged 32 and 36, were shot by unknown gunmen around 19:00, and both died at the scene. A 39-year-old man, who was with them, was taken to a nearby hospital.

Investigation under way

Mitchells Plain detectives were investigating two counts of murder and one count of attempted murder. The motive was unknown and the circumstances surrounding the incident were still being investigated. No arrests had been made.
