Touched by Style’s new community film has been released

Patrick Lategan, the founder of Touched by Style, with some of the awards they won.

Touched By Style, community art projects and films, is releasing their latest community action film project Bitter Rise of the Ringmaster on Friday 14 April.

The film took three months to complete working together with community members from Eerste River, Delft, Belhar, Kuils River and Brackenfell.

According to Patrick Lategan from Touched by Style the young team of over 53 cast members for the project were overwhelmed by the support received from the community and being part of another positive activity created for them to showcase their acting abilities. “We are already welcoming new faces for two upcoming community film projects, A Secret Revenge, and the horror story named Conversations With A Vampire”, says Lategan.

Touched by Style gets about 200 to 370 members from different communities a month to participate and volunteer in their action films and they also encourage more film makers to create opportunities for these young actors.

“We are doing this to keep them off the street and busy with positive activities,” says Lategan.

They have extended their development till 2025 and have already put on the creative list more film projects such as Aapie, Krump Baba, and the sci-fi superhero films Knightmanand Saviour.
