The commander of Table View Police Station climbed the ladder to a higher rank when she was promoted to Brigadier last week.
Brig Lindiwe Dyantyi will become the new commander of Mitchells Plain Police Station after she was presented with the new rank by the acting provincial commissioner of the police in the province, Maj Gen Albert Maqhashalala.
She tooover as headir of station commander at Table View Police Station on 1 November 2017 and has strengthened partnership policing, while climbing into the hearts of the community.
“Brig Dyantyi was committed to her role as leader of the police station, and worked many operations with her members, resulting in arrests of numerous criminals,” says Table View police spokesperson Capt Adriana Chandler.
She is described as loyal, caring, dedicated, strong and passionate by her members.
Brig Dyantyi expressed her heartfelt appreciation towards the community of the Table View policing precinct, as well as to each and every partner of the Table View police. She has also stated that she will miss her “children”, fondly referring to her officers at the station.
“Brig Dyantyi will be missed, and has been extended well wishes for her future professional endeavours,” Chandler says.
