Six suspects were arrested within hours after a burglary during which liquor to the value of R10 000 were stolen from a local supermarket last week.
This follows a joint action by Titanium Securitas and Kraaifontein police.
After receiving information about the theft case, Titanium Securitas armed response officers detained three suspects in the informal settlement known as “The Vlak”.
The suspects cooperated and provided details about their accomplices, leading to the arrest of a fourth suspect at another location in Kraaifontein. Further questioning revealed information about the getaway driver involved in the theft. Along with the police, Titanium Securitas then detained the final two suspects shortly after.
The suspects remained in custody pending a court appearance.
