SA Water Warriors is struggling to get to the regular amounts of outreaches they used to do per year.
Deon Smit, the founder of SA Water Warriors, expressed with sadness that their resources did not allow them to do more. “Where we have had six outreaches per year for the past six years we have had only two this year,” says Smit.

Their last outreach was in May this year to Brandvlei in the Northern Cape where 150 families, farmers and their workers were supplied with groceries and fodder.
The organisation is hoping to have their annual Christmas outreach at the end of November or beginning of December. “Although we have an area in mind it will only be made known when we are certain that we will be able to make it. In order for us to do this we need to raise another R200 000 by the end of October to give us enough time for planning,” says Smit.

He is urging the public to help make this possible.
“It is a tall order, but we will not give up. Please share and also invite your friends to come and join our page and join us in helping our farmers and their workers.
“You might not be able to make a donation, but some of your friends might be able to. No donation is too small,” says Smit.
