Police are investigating the kidnapping of well-known Milnerton businessman Roger Brijlal, who was abducted near his home almost two weeks ago.
Brijlal was last seen on the morning of Monday 9 September. When he failed to arrive at work and could not be reached on his phone, his family grew concerned. By that afternoon, a missing person’s case was opened at Milnerton Police Station.
Later the same day, his vehicle – a white VW Amarok – was discovered abandoned in Joe Slovo. According to reports, his kidnappers demanded a ransom for his safe return.
