Good news for young people in communities like Delft and Belhar is that the Touched By Style arts projects is planning to produce two more film projects that will give young adults the opportunity to shine on camera and show off some action, drama and artistic acting skills.

Their previous short movie, Wally Wages, the smooth criminal, will be released this month.

“We love young people’s energy and we also consider taking all ages for specific projects. For now we are growing and building with the hope to produce and mold more talent.

“We have high expectations for the new film with magnificent acting and dance skills from young adults and teens from Delft, Elsies River, Kensington, Silversands, Eerste River and Mitchells Plain. The film consists of action and dance sequences that will keep the audience electrified,” says Colleen Williams from Touched by Style.

The first images released of the upcoming film shows actors doing sleek moves like Michael Jackson and by all accounts the cast had to endure hours of rehearsals to perfect the moves.

Choreographer Nick Floorkiller took everyone through their paces.
