Man gunned down in Kuils River by three suspects who fled the scene in a white minibus

A man that was shot in Sarepta on Sunday evening has died in hospital, police have confirmed.

WO Liezel Beukes, Kuils River police spokesperson, says one of their patrol vans attended to a shooting incident on Sunday 26 March at 19:30, where officers found a man in his late twenties with gunshot wounds to his neck and chest laying in Iris Street.

Beukes says, according to information received, the man was gunned down by three men who fled in a white Toyota Quantum minibus.

The injured man was rushed to Tygerberg Hospital where he later succumbed to his wounds.

Beukes says a murder case has been registered at the local police.

“No arrests have been made thus far.”
