A 25-year-old man was shot and killed earlier today (15 October) in Valhalla Park in what is described by police as a suspected gang related shooting.
According to Seargent Samantha Adonis, police spokesperson, the victim resides in 8th Avenue and was on his way to spaza shop when he was approached by a group of armed men who opened fire. “He sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his head and was declared deceased by medical personnel on the scene. The motive is suspected to be gang related and Bishop Lavis detectives are investigating a murder case,” says Adonis.
