Following a shooting incident in Phoenix in Milnerton on Wednesday 24 May, a man in his 20s, believed to have been a suspect, was critically injured.
Russel Meiring, ER24 communications officer, says ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at approximately 15:00 to find numerous local authorities in attendance.
“On closer inspection, medics found that a man in his 20s had sustained numerous gunshot wounds to his arms and groin, leaving him in a critical condition,” Meiring says.
The man was treated and provided with advanced life support before he was transported to a nearby hospital under the supervision of the police.
“The exact details surrounding this incident are unknown, but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations,” Meiring says.
TygerBurger reached out to the Milnerton police for further information, but received no comment.
