The holiday programme of the Milnerton Library was a huge success.
Children enjoyed story time, learning crafts like finger painting, how to make a butterfly collage and learned more about the birds and taxidermy animals of the Table Bay Nature Reserve.
“For those who missed out on our holiday fun at Milnerton library this time, diarise the next school holidays. A big shout out of thanks to those who attended, moms, nannies, grandparents, educarers, teachers and principals in Phoenix. Everyone loved the finger painting crafts – messy but fun – even the adults joined in to help create works of art,” says Unetta Petersen, assistant librarian.
She thanked Lihleli Dyani and his team from Table Bay Nature Reserve and all those who attended an exciting morning where they could stare into the eyes of stuffed animals.
“Good luck to those who took part in the colouring-in competition. We will let you know soon who our winners are.”
Joining the library is free.
