Former police officer convicted of murdering his children applies for parole.

A store manager of a retail store in Kuils River was arrested by the Western Cape Commercial Crimes Investigation Unit this morning (Wednesday 15 June).

Police spokesperson, Ndakhe Gwala, said in a statement an intelligence driven tracing operation uncovered that the manager was embezzling company money by making bogus refunds.

The manager pocketed R97 534 from the company by making fraudulent refunds to his wife’s account and that of another person.He appeared in the Kuils River Magistrate’s Court today.

He is facing a similar charge in a Mitchell’s Plain case and is expected to make his court appearance in the Mitchell’s Plain Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday 22 June.
