Project 021 will present a powerful new production called Shine from Thursday 26 February to Saturday 28 February at the Sarepta Community Hall.
The Kuils River-based non-profit organisation uses performing arts to develop and empower young people in the community.
Founder and director David Cornelson said they have assembled a talented and energetic cast to bring this compelling story to life.

Roller-coaster of emotions
“Shine deals with gender-based violence and the impact it has on children who experience it firsthand,” Cornelson explained.
“The storyline is filled with dialogue that will take the audience on a roller-coaster of emotions, as we are sure they will be able to relate to the characters in the play.”
Cornelson added that the production also serves as a platform to highlight local talent.
“Shine is an opportunity for us to showcase the wealth of talent we have in our community. We invite everyone to come and enjoy the production while supporting the important work we are doing with young people.”
Tickets are available for R60 at Webtickets.
