The Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness appealed to the public to help find the family of an unknown male patient.
Taken by ambulance to the casualty section of Tygerberg Hospital on 18 December, the approximately 26-year-old male was found in Pama Road in Site B, Khayelitsha. He had visible bruise marks on his forehead and face, the department said.
It said no family members or acquaintances had been identified nor had come forward at this stage. Hence the assistance of the public in helping reunite the patient with his loved ones was welcome.
