Cape Town police hunt for suspects after 4 men shot and killed in Wallacedene

A manhunt for suspects who allegedly shot and killed four men in Wallacedene, Kraaifontein is underway. 

“Kraaifontein police were called out to an informal settlement in Wallacedene, Kraaifontein at approximately 20:00 last night where they found the bodies of four men with gunshot wounds in a shack. The deceased persons believed to be in their early thirties are all from the Wallacedene area,” says Brigadier Novela Potelwa from the office of the provincial police commissioner.

According to the office of the Potelwa, the motive for the shooting is under police investigation by provincial serious and violent crime detectives who are currently questioning several persons.

“The serious violent crimes detectives are also investigating the possibility that the deceased persons were involved in a business robbery that occurred in the area,” she says.

According to a reliable source, the suspects are foreign nationals whose house shops were robbed by the deceased men.

However, this information has not been confirmed by the police.
