The Alexandria Foundation, a non-profit organisation from Eerste River, is positive about an initiative to connect organisations under one roof.
According to Alexandria Joseph their goal is collaboration, community building, and knowledge sharing as essential components.
“Recognising this, we have have launched an initiative to bring together a diverse group of organisations under one roof. The goal is to create a space where organisations can connect, collaborate, and learn from one another, all while working towards their respective missions. This innovative initiative has the potential to revolutionise the non-profit sector by providing a platform for organisations to build relationships and work together towards common goals. By working in close proximity, non-profits can share resources, knowledge and expertise to address the most pressing social and environmental issues facing their communities and help and grow their organisations as well,” says Joseph.
Joseph says the benefits of this collaborative environment are numerous.
“For one, it provides non-profits with access to a wider network of organisations, which can help them to leverage new funding opportunities, expand their reach, and increase their impact. Additionally, the sharing of knowledge and expertise can lead to more effective programming, as organisations are able to learn from one another’s successes and challenges,” she says.
The organisation has already attracted a diverse group of organisations to its space.
