Durbanville Catholic Church hosts food fair with international flair

Durbanville Catholic Church will host a food fair on Saturday 30 May from 11:00 to 16:00.

This annual community event aims to bring people together to celebrate food and life. It also serves as a fundraising project for the church. It is being presented at 7 The Crescent just opposite the church.

International food options

Visitors can choose from a variety of delicious food and drink stalls, including Portuguese, Korean, American, South African, Indian, French, Italian and Mediterranean options.

There will also be coffee, tea, cakes, pancakes, soft drinks, beer and wine, as well as a jumping castle for the little ones and other stalls.

Mediterranean chicken

Among the various food stalls will be the Noshbudha Club, a cooking class, which will prepare a Mediterranean chicken fricassee.

Food vouchers are on sale. Phone Irene on 082 783 9869 for more information.
