The City of Cape Town’s Mobile Office is heading to Eerste River next week to bring essential municipal services directly to residents’ doorsteps.
The mobile unit will be stationed at the at the Eerste River Multipurpose Centre, with a Basket of Services on Thursday, 26 February. Residents are encouraged to skip the commute and visit the Mobile Office to resolve account queries and access City services.
The Mobile Office will be at the Eerste River Multipurpose Centre on the corner of Beverly Street and Bobs Way, Eersterivier from 09:00 to 15:00. The City’s Customer Relations Department’s mobile team will assist residents with logging queries and service requests electronically.
Services
The Basket of Services offering in Eerste River will see several City departments present their services and will assist residents with enquiries or concerns around human resources, enquiries about bursaries, internships, and apprenticeships, community, and arts and culture development. Other services include:
-Business Hub and Jobs Connect-Customer Relations
-Energy for meter related issues, billing issues and account concerns
-Health to find out more about primary health care services-Safety and Security for information about traffic and law enforcement services
-EPWP and jobseekers to give unemployed youth an opportunity to register on the jobseekers’ database to make them eligible for job opportunities that become available in their local communities.
