Milnerton Primary’s first big charity drive, held, on Monday 18 March of the year involved furry friends from Fallen Angels.
Headmaster Warick Middleton said: “I am so happy that the Milnerton Primary family has opened its hearts to Fallen Angels. Watching children become aware of need in their greater community and responding to it with generosity, is beautiful to behold.”
Milnerton Primary parents raised approximately R36 000 to this cause.
The learners were rewarded with a free “civvies” day and a visit by a few of these cute furballs.
“Last Friday, our Early Act members visited Fallen Angels walking and bathing man’s best friend. A rewarding experience for all!”
Grade 1’s raised the most money – a whopping R6 128.75.
