Brackenfell police in search of missing woman, last seen in Bellville on Sunday

Brackenfell police are seeking the public’s help in finding a mentally challenged 28-year-old woman who went missing on Sunday 19 November.

Zintle Barbra Khubeka was last seen at Bellville Taxi Rank around 17:20.

 “At the time of her disappearance she was wearing a cropped brown tracksuit top, brown pants, black and white T-shirt and pumps,” a provincial police spokesperson said. “She is considered vulnerable and can speak only Zulu with hand gestures. .  

Zintle was one of two daughters, and their mother had asked her sister to watch over her while doing household chores, but things started unravelling when an argument ensued.

“According to reports the mother asked her daughter to watch over Zintle while busy with the washing. During an argument Zintle told her sister she was leaving the house and going to Johannesburg. She apparently packed all her clothes and took a taxi to Bellville. Her mother and sister went to Bellville after her, and they were told by a security guard at the taxi rank that she had last seen her walking with a foreigner.”
