Families are invited to meet the beloved characters from the hit Australian animated series Bluey and Bingo at CapeGate Shopping Centre on Saturday 21 March.

The free meet and greet will run in two sessions (10:00 to 12:00 and 12:30 to 14:30), giving families ample opportunity to spend time with the iconic Blue and Red Heeler siblings. Parents are encouraged to bring their own phones, with dedicated assistants on hand to help capture the moment.

Since its debut, Bluey has captured the hearts of children and parents alike with its warm portrayal of family life, imaginative play and genuine humour. Created by Australian dad Joe Brumm and produced in Brisbane, the show draws on real locations and uses the voices of the production crew’s own children to bring its characters to life. Six-year-old Bluey and her four-year-old sister Bingo have become household names.

“We know how much children love Bluey and Bingo, and we wanted to create a special free-to-attend experience that families could enjoy together,” said Zoë Enslin, marketing manager of CapeGate Shopping Centre.

Adding to the excitement, CapeGate is running a Find Bluey and Bingo Competition, giving visitors the chance to win a R500 Pep voucher and a R2000 CapeGate gift card. Entry details are available in-centre and across CapeGate’s social media channels.

Families are advised to arrive early to avoid long queues. Bluey and Bingo will take short comfort breaks throughout the event, with a full 30-minute break at 12:00.
