The police are still on the hunt for the three men who robbed the post office yesterday morning.

The men, who were all wearing masks and who were all armed, entered the Brackenfell Post Office and threatened employees and customers.

Capt Erica Crous, spokesperson of Brackenfell Police Station, says they entered the premises shortly after a large amount of cash was off-loaded at the post office.

“Apparently they forced the manager to open the safe and ordered him to pack all the cash in a bag. The cashiers were ordered to empty the cash registers,” Crous says.

Everyone present was ordered to lie down on the ground.

“The suspects then left the post office and fled the scene on foot.”

No shots were fired and no one was physically injured.
