The body of a female baby was found face down in a wheelie bin at Parow Park on Monday 5 November.
According to Captain Kevin Williams, spokesperson for Parow Police Station, the baby was found when police officers attended to a complaint at Parow Park.
The case is being investigated.
The investigation officer is warrant officer Eugene Human from Parow Detectives.
Parow police is asking anyone with information to contact the Parow Police Station on 021 929 7037
