The annual Touching the Heart gala fundraiser and charity auction presented by Daniel and Friends Fund is set to light up the night on 8 November at Eensgezind function venue outside Durbanville.

It promises to be an unforgettable evening filled with glamour, the best of local entertainment and heart-warming generosity. This highly anticipated charity event aims to raise funds for children with special needs, ensuring they receive the support and resources necessary to thrive.

Now in its seventh year, Touching the Heart has quickly become a staple of our community, attracting prominent figures, local businesses, and citizens eager to contribute to a worthy cause. Guests can look forward to a Gin Extravaganza and immersive 360 degree Video Booth Experience, before being treated to an exquisite three-course dinner followed by a lively auction featuring many items.

Entertainment will take centre stage, with performances from the evergreen Andriëtte Norman and saxophone player Cangi Nekumbe, while Magician Peter G and celebrity Michelle Adams will play MC for the evening.

The gala not only aims to raise funds but also to raise awareness about the challenges faced by children with special needs and their families. “It will be an experience of looking back and celebrating the ten years of the organisation and the colourful journeys of the children,” says director Lianie le Roux. Ticket price R900 per person. Formal dress code. Contact Lianie le Roux at 076 331 8474 or lianiewalters@gmail.com for ticket purchases and more information.
