Another majorette group returns in triumph

The SA Majorettes team returned from Croatia on Wednesday 4 October after performing in several categories where they secured placement in the top five for some solos, duo/trios and group performances.

Parents and coaches welcomed the girls at the airport.

The South African Majorettes team did the opening performance in Croatia.

This group was from the Western Province Majorettes and Cheerleading Association (WPMCA), associated with the South African Majorettes and Cheerleading Association (SAMCA).

Four majorettes from Goodwood also participated in Croatia in August.

Both teams ended up in the top five in their various categories.

The SA team’s senior small drill team won first place in the senior small drill category.

The junior mace group also took first in their category.

Overall the mini formation mace juniors walked away with first place and the pom-pom group juniors ended in fifth place.
