A 22-year-old from Valhalla Park recently launched a book called Living the abundant life.
Dulin George, a youth facilitator and public speaker, said this is just the beginning, because he dreams of changing young people’s mindsets.
He said he was inspired by God to write it.
“John 10:10 states that Jesus came that we may have life, and life in abundance,” he said.
“I only had a word from God and vision in my heart to start writing, with no money to do this, and the Lord Himself provided everything through other people.
“I believe in the principle use what you have where you are.”
According to George the book is a seed for future endeavours. “I am planning to write the next edition.
“I hope the book can be used as a weapon against poverty within our communities and within the church.
“God wants to set His church free from poverty or the poverty mentality to take the gospel to the rest of the world, and to do that finances are needed.
“Every Christian should read this book because there is something for everyone in it.
“In the book is a testimony as well of God’s provision through giving.”
His message to youth is to pursue their dreams undeterred. “God has placed many dreams in our hearts, and only if as we believe that it is possible with Him will He make it possible for our dreams to become reality.”
