CAPE TOWN – A woman has died in a fatal car accident in Brackenfell last night 25 April, in what was reportedly a head-on collision. The accident occurred on Kruis Road in Ruwari near Vleisiwinkel.
Emergency medical services received the call at approximately 20:25, according to Kobus Kotze from Titanium Ambulance Services.
“The female driver was declared dead at the scene of the accident, and the male driver of the bakkie sustained minor injuries. He was transported to a local hospital,” Kotze said.

Brackenfell police attended the scene and have opened a case of culpable homicide.
The woman’s identity was unknown at the time of reporting.
