The Durbanville Craft Market will present a treasure hunt at its monthly charity event on Saturday 4 April from 09:00 to 14:00, weather permitting.
Various prizes totalling the value of about R2 000 can be won by visitors. Entry is free.
The market is presented at 5 Louw Street (corner of Louw and Hafele streets) in Durbanville — near the Durbanville Fire Station.
Visitors can enjoy a fun-filled day browsing through stalls with handmade crafts and art, while listening to a live music performance by Jerry Fourie.
It will be the final day of the Bietjie van Als fundraiser for Fisantekraal Animal Welfare. Raffle tickets, at only R10, will be sold to win a spice box worth R350.
There will be food stalls, pancakes, diabetic-friendly and gluten-free products, garden furniture, children’s crafters and much more.
Support Capetonians Against Animal Abuse with “all things cats” and Fisantekraal Animal Welfare with pre-loved items.
Celebrating 40 years of being part of the Durbanville community, this market is the oldest craft market in the northern suburbs, and one of the very few where organisers do not financially benefit.
The only purpose is to help cash-strapped crafters and charities.
Stall fees are only R100 and all fees are in aid of welfare. Stall fees are only R10 for children and free for registered charity organisations.
Pets are very welcome. Entrance to the market is free.
