CPF concerned

The Brackenfell Community Policing Forum noted the recently released crime statistics with concern. “Crime affects every member of our community, and these figures remind us that safety remains a shared responsibility,” says the chair, Norman Landry.

“While law enforcement plays a vital role in combating crime, community involvement is just as important. The Brackenfell CPF encourages residents to work closely with the police by reporting suspicious activities, participating in neighbourhood safety initiatives, and supporting crime-prevention efforts.

“We also recognise the ongoing efforts of the South African Police Service and other stakeholders who are dedicated to improving safety in our area. Strengthening cooperation between the police, community structures, and local organisations remains essential in addressing the root causes of crime,” says Landry.
