Dulin George, poet and author from Valhalla Park released his brand new book, after debuting in 2023 with Living the Abundant Life.
He says his new work, A Book of Poems, is him sowing seeds in his community. “This book is a dedication to everyone in Valhalla Park who has a dream because I believe God has a dream for Valhalla Park and for everyone from Valhalla Park,” he says.
George says he would like to honour his spiritual advisors, pastor Julian and Sharon Jackson for their unwavering support, impartation and love towards him and his dreams.
The book launch took place at the local church, JCJ ministries.
Offerings
“Jackson gave a powerful message at the launch about offerings. He talked about how every offering opens a door for generations and I would like this book to be my offering. I believe that your gift will make room for you but it is your character that will sustain you once you are in the room before great men. I believe the best is yet to come,” says George.
A firm believer in God, George believes he would not have written his poems without the wisdom of the Lord. “The wisdom of God comes also through men but it’s our responsibility to recognize those people and be open to receive and apply the wisdom of God through men.
“Here’s my offering – a book of poems that will take readers on a journey of self discovery, healing and resilience. This poignant collection of poems explores the complexities of the human experience, inviting readers to reflect on their own lives and emotions.
“I want to encourage the youth to start believing in themselves even if no one else does, because he believes that once you believe in yourself the right people will be drawn to you,” he says.
