Mbekweni’s green guru Siyabonga Stengana was thrilled to have local youngsters in the community devote their Youth Day to planting trees on Friday 16 June. The colourful recreational spots as touched by Siya, are now graced by newly planted green trees and plants that breathe life into these rehabilitated dump sites. He was all too proud to boast about the successful sowing of environmental values among the youth, and he hopes to be a positive influence for real and practical change in Mbekweni. Here, they all brag about getting down and dirty with their own bare hands to beautify their surroundings.
