Rhyle Adams, a Grade 8 learner of Klein Nederburg Secondary School, participated in the African Spelling Bee National Preliminaries at Sun City in North West province from 9 to 12 October. He ended in fourth place in the junior category. With Rhyle is his teacher and mentor Nuraan Moerat, who accompanied him to the competition.
