Lukas Pretorius from Paarl Boys’ Primary School and Liebe Luiters from ACVV Stellenbosch was part of Overberg Goju-Kai Pre-School.
This is Francois du Plessis’ first grading of 2021 to blue stripe this month. Pre-schools in Paarl and Stellenbosch participated at this event.
The young karatekas were put through their paces by Du Plessis Shihan and his team. They were tested on basic karate techniques (kihon) as well as memory skills, agility, hand-eye coordination and balance.
Each pre-schooler received their first 2021 grading medal and certificate. All Covid-19 protocols were followed during the event.
