Zuri Green, a Grade 5 learner of Ebenezer Primary School and a member of the CTC Academy, received two gold medals at the 2021 Western Cape Road Cycling Championship. The 10-year-old participated in several u-11 girls’ categories. She received one medal in the road race and one medal in the time-trial categories. She was also awarded two gold medals for the time-trial and the sprint-race categories at the 2021 Western Cape Track Cycling Championship. On 23 January Zuri was crowned Western Cape provincial u-13 girls’ road-race champion over 20 km.
