Wellington SPCA celebrated youthful giving spirits on Youth Day. “Special thanks go out to the local schools and children who have run drives and collected donations for us and the animals we care for,” the society stated in a Facebook post. It thanked La Rochelle Girls’ Primary School, Carnegie House Independent Schools, Wellington Preparatory School & College and Marise Rawlings running the SPCA charity project. “Thank you for helping to inspire belief and ambition in a new generation of future leaders at our local primary schools. They signed-off with a quote by Pearl S. Buck: “The young do not know enough to be prudent, and therefore they attempt the impossible, and achieve it, generation after generation.”Photos: Wellington SPCA
