Paarl police is asking the help of the public to identify and trace the driver responsible for a culpable homicide.
Police spokesperson, Capt Louise du Plessis said: “The accident happened on 21 November 2021 at around 20:10 on the R45 Malmesbury Road close to Kronenburg Estate.
“A 53-year-old woman was struck by a vehicle which fled the scene.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact the investigation officer WO Thabang Tsulo on 021 807 4075.
