No injuries were reported in a collision between two vehicles on the corner of Optenhorst and Berlyn Streets in Paarl on Monday.
The accident involved a Mahindra bakkie that mounted a pavement and crashed into a lamp pole outside the premises of private medical practices.
The other light motor vehicle came to a standstill in the middle of the intersection in Lemoenkloof.
“Both female drivers were okay, although in shock,” an Emergency Services paramedic source reported.
“Neither felt it was necessary for them to be taken to hospital.”
