On Friday evening locals can look forward to rock and roll during the Unplugged Tribute to the Rolling Stones show at 19:00 at Die Bôrdienghuis Theatre in Wellington.
They are the world’s longest-running rock ’n roll band and arguably one of the most influential bands of all time. Four of Cape Town’s top rock artists have decided to pay homage to The Rolling Stones and have been performing to sold out crowds all over the Western Cape.
The musical spectacular ‘Gimme Shelter: A Night of Rolling Stones Music’ will be presented by Jake Gunn, Johnathan Martin and Lenny Miskin on percussion.
Stones followers can expect to hear all their favourites, like “Jumpin’ Jack Flash”, “Honky Tonk Woman” and “Wild Horses” and even a few they’ve never heard before. Tickets cost R150 per peson. Doors open for pizza and wine from 17:00. Bookings with Jeannine on 061 156 5386.
