The Titanic sank in the early hours of 15 April 1912. The tragedy was the inspiration for an award winning movie first screened in 1998, shortly after the cinema Minimax in Paarl opened its doors for the first time. Now, 25 years later, the film has been remastered and brought back to the big screen in 3D. This year Minimax will celebrate 25 years of big screen magic with the screening ofTitanic in 3D from 10 February. For this special celebration the price of the movie tickets on Wednesday 15 February will be the same as they were in 1998 – R17 a ticket (excluding the required 3D glasses). For more information on this special screening, contact Minimax Cinema on 021 872 0715.
