The Wine Hive is a slice of Italy in the centre of town

A new wine bar has opened in Paarl in the beautiful historical building on Hoffmans Lane adjacent to the parking area of the Strooikerk. The Wine Hive wine bar is the brainchild of Italians Michela Sfiligoi (centre) and her husband Attilio Dal Piaz, formerly co-founders of Ayama Wine in the Paardeberg. The couple have since then established their own brand, Nomoya. At the Wine Hive visitors can enjoy a tasting of a variety of interesting Italian and unique South African wines, together with snack plates of Italian appetizers. The Wine Hive officially opens on Friday when the public is invited for a complimentary glass of wine and snack.
