An ex-learner from Paulus Joubert Primary School, Keenan Uren, made history on the school’s 65th anniversary. This passionate educator, currently at Bergendal Primary, participated in the National Teachers Awards (NTA) for Excellence in Teaching Natural Sciences. The ceremony took place on 18 July at La Rochelle Primary School. He walked away the District Winner for Excellence in Teaching Natural Sciences in the Cape Winelands and will also represent the district at the provincial round on 23 July. The school is proud of learners who achieve, as it strives for excellence.
